Sick of Team Drama, High Turnover and “Wellbeing” Initiatives That Don’t Work?
You’re not imagining it.
Vet teams are burnt out, bitchy, and barely hanging on — and yet you’re somehow meant to fix it all without formal training, support, or even time to pee.
Sound familiar?
-
You’re caught in the middle of personality clashes and passive-aggressive group chats
-
The team wants you to solve everything, and has forgotten what initiative looks like
-
You feel like a referee more than a manager — and it’s exhausting.
-
You’ve tried “staff wellbeing days” and team-building games and everyone rolled their eyes.
-
You’re so busy firefighting that actual leadership feels impossible.
And through it all…
No one has taught you how to lead a team of stressed, overstretched, emotionally fried humans who are supposed to care deeply without completely falling apart.

About your guide: Dr Jess Moore-Jones
Veterinary professional. Culture fixer. Straight-talker.
I’m not here to “inspire” your team with pastel PowerPoints and trust falls.
I’m here because I’ve stood exactly where they’re standing — and I’ve led from there too.
I’ve been the vet staying back late because no one else would.
The manager pulled into three passive-aggressive crises before morning tea.
And eventually, the senior leader trying to hold a clinic together while quietly burning out.
I’ve led 100 FTE vet hospitals, run national animal welfare organisations, and globally renowned zoo departments. I've restructured messy teams, rebuilt cultures, and coached hundreds of people in vet and animal care — from new grads to seasoned managers.
Now, I bring that experience to the teams who need it most — the ones doing hard, emotional, important work and trying to stay standing while they do it.
This workshop series isn’t the stuff you've heard before.
It’s practical, real-world, and built for people who don’t have time to waste.
We’ll talk about what actually goes wrong in vet teams — and how to fix it in a way that sticks.
Because if you want a team that thrives, they need more than a pep talk.
They need tools that work in real life — from the treatment room to the tearoom.
